From 45th Reunion

Marilyn’s Memories:

All my memories of LRCHS days are great ones.  I took a lot of pride in the fact our high school was voted among the 10 most beautiful in America.  Pride was also taken in our teachers, that not only enriched our minds but our lives, as well, and I can’t leave out how proud I was of my classmates’ accomplishments.  What a fantastic school to graduate from.
I looked forward to each school day being with friends and sharing good times and laughs together.
Karen Mavis and myself really were excited about being selected to go to Arkansas Girls State where new friendships were formed.
Some of my best times were being a cheerleader for an undefeated, untied, big nine-championship team.  Oh yes and all the dances after the games will never be forgotten.
We all remember Mr. McDonald, Art Instructor, and how hard he worked Donna Lynch. Bud Bell, others and myself on our decoration committee for our prom.  It was beautiful.
I’m excited about our class reunion.  It will be a chance to renew the friendships we shared together and cement the bond we all share.  That being Tiger Pride.
