From 45th Reunion

Dear Classmates:

I have great memories of our days at Central High School and they do become more precious as time goes on.   Especially as good friends go to be with the Lord, and I realize it has been years since I have heard from them.  I would like so much to see many of those who have never come to the reunions and to renew old acquaintances.
I attended ASTC my first year after High School.  Then I married Richard Allen.  He was in Veterinary School at Oklahoma State University.  So my next three semesters were at OSU.  We then moved back to NLR.   I finished college at LRU and by that time was expecting our second son.  We had a third son 5 years later.  I stayed home and raised boys, going to ball practices etc. for the next several years.  Bible Study Fellowship was a big part of my life and had a great influence on our whole family.  We’ve lived in the same house in NLR for 38 years.  Nine years ago I started working for my husband.  He is a great boss and we like working together.
Our oldest son and his wife have four children and live in Golden, Colorado.  Our middle son and his wife live in LR and have two sons.  Our youngest is in Pasadena, California, and is still looking for just the right girl.  Now we get to watch our grandsons play ball.  All 13 of us were together this last fall in Los Angeles for the Razorback game with USC.  Our son who lives there called it Hoggywood and we made a family reunion of it.  (So the game was just a small part of our plans).  Thank goodness we didn’t count on that being the highlight of the trip.
We are thankful for all of God’s blessings.  We look forward to the reunion.  Thank you for all the hard work each one of you on the committee does to plan the reunion.  We would love to hear from any of our classmates by phone or email.

 Sincerely, Doretta
